Last modified: 2023-09-12

Summary

The command \slanted switches the font to slanted.

Description

Beware: Most fonts don’t have a slanted variant, but Latin Modern has.

The default for \emph is also to use slanted. You can change this default like

\definehighlight[emph][style=italicface]

Examples

plain use

  • Is there a difference between {\sl sl} and {\slanted slanted}?

    It works also as \slanted{slanted}.
