Summary

The command \colored is used to color something with an ad-hoc color.

Settings

\colored[...=...,...]{...}
...=...,... inherits from \definecolor
{...} content

Settings name

\colored[...]{...}
[...] color
{...} content

Description

While \color uses a color name defined with \definecolor , \colored takes a color definition. That makes sense for colors that you only need once or for automated workflows.
